Morgan Michele Franklin

Morgan Michele Franklin is a Consultant with Triad Consulting Group, teaches at Harvard Law School and is an instructor in the Harvard Negotiation & Mediation Clinical Program. Her interest in dispute resolution and negotiation stems from an interest in cognitive and behavioral science paired with a belief in the field’s importance in addressing societal challenges. In her work at Harvard and in the dispute resolution space more broadly, she enjoys exploring the ways in which equity considerations and a thoughtful examination of power dynamics might broaden our understanding, complicate our pre-conceived notions, and challenge us as we seek a justice-oriented peace.

Morgan has worked with clients across multiple sectors, including technology, law, financial services, and healthcare. At Harvard Law, she has worked with community groups in various contexts—workspaces, geographically connected groups, online community memberships, historically marginalized groups, and more. In her work with students and clients, Morgan works to consider the ways in which past experiences, including traumatic and adverse events, inform present emotional reactions to everything from day-to-day interpersonal challenges to long-lasting and pervasive societal conflicts. In addition to exploring the emotional valence of disputes, she focuses on the closely held narratives and paradigms that inform individual perceptions about what’s possible.

Morgan holds a B.A. in Political Economy, magna cum laude, from Tulane University and is originally from Shreveport, Louisiana. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2017 and is a member of the Maryland Bar.
