Julie Okada, CEO

Julie Okada is the CEO and a Partner of Triad Consulting Group. She helps organizations and their leaders increase their capacity to navigate their hardest conversations and strengthen their relationships—when success depends on it, but working together feels especially fraught.

Previously, Julie was a Partner and Global Head of Learning & Leadership Development at Brunswick Group, the global advisory firm. She was a Managing Director and co-led the North America region at Duke Corporate Education. Julie started her career at PwC.

Julie has worked across a range of industries and sectors, including industrial manufacturing, healthcare, energy, technology, consumer goods, and financial services. Her representative clients include prominent private equity firms, global corporations such as American Express, Caterpillar, AstraZeneca, Nike, and Microsoft, and organizations such as the International Monetary Fund, The Federal Reserve, and the UN International Office on Migration.

Julie has taught negotiation at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and has lectured on various topics at Emory University and Duke University. Julie’s writing has appeared in publications such as Rotman Management Magazine. Awarded with distinction, Julie has a Bachelor of Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Public Health from Emory University, and a Master of Arts in Sociology, also from Emory University, where she was a Laney Graduate School Arts & Sciences Fellow. Her research examined how we make meaning from work.

Born and raised in Toronto, Julie now calls Atlanta home, where she lives with her husband, kids, and their pets.
